For her Master thesis "German Audience Response towards News about the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict: The Composition of Compassion Fatigue and Co-Responsibility", Beatrice Jeschek decided to conduct focus groups in her home country  - and brought some publicity along.

In the state of Hessen (western-central part of Germany), she gave a lecture about her work - qualitative research methods, focus groups in particular (moderator involvement and conflicting roles), and thematic analysis in front of B.A. students.
